Here comes the BOOM! Let me guess, Furious 8 will be about car racing, crashing, explosions, big biceps and yelling. According to Box Office Mojo, The Fate of the Furious, one of the most hype film, is expected to debut with over $100 million. So far, many of the films that were released this year were pretty calm except for Beauty and the Beast (2017). The Fate of the Furious better not disappoint me or else I will boycott its future series. (I am joking!!)
The Fate of the Furious opens with a car race that has nothing to do with the rest of the film. So, are these franchise about car races or nice cars? I guess producers of the film try to stay true to the origin of the film by including some car racing elements. The film won’t sell much tickets, if the film is solely about car racing like NASCAR. (500 rounds later) How boring is that going to be? At least the film has lots of nice cars.
Here’s what I am looking for in The Fate of the Furious. Driving on ice lake and desert while shooting at each other with infinite amount of bullets. A submarine joins the tank and car race shooting torpedoes everywhere. A torpedo ends up racing next to a tank where Luke Hobbs is driving and he throws the torpedo at tank. This has become a war. How crazy can it be? This movie is breaking the Laws of Physics. It will be a crazy movie. I can’t help but laugh at the exaggeration of anti-gravity sequences.
This movie is about saving Dom who is approached by most wanted hacker, Cipher, who has crucial secrets to turn Dom against his team. He betrays Luke and his team to work for Cipher. Now, the team must stop Dom before he loses himself to Cipher’s technical spell. In order complete the mission, they bring in Deckard Shaw played by Jason Statham, a person Luke does not get along. The bromance wordplay between The Rock and Statham is very entertaining. That’s something to look forward to in The Fate of the Furious. Love to see them trying to get along.
Just wondering what would be the next action sequence for the upcoming Fast and Furious movies because I heard there several movies planned until 2021. Since Earth’s gravity is not a problem, they will use race car to dodge military aircraft. The military aircraft are hacked to invade other countries. The team of Fast & Furious will have to pimp their cars to outsmart the aircraft. Maybe, government satellites are hacked and government can’t figure out how to regain control. So, they go to the gang to make an offer to complete the mission. Okay, enough with the crazy imagination.
Looks like it will be an amazing movie making a grand opening, but the reason for this could be Paul Walker. It’s sad to see him go because it will be fun to see him in The Fate of the Furious. With him missing, the original crew would carry on the legacy of Fast & Furious. I predict that someone may die in the movie. Let’s see if it’s true.
